My name is Chandler Chapman and I study at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am currently twenty years old, so hopefully this blog will help guide my two decade crisis I am in the midst of. As of right now I am a Neuroscience major, maybe adding a biology and chemistry double minor (EEK!) and hoping to attend pharmacy school. Or medical school. We will see where this semester takes me…
Anyways, I find the most effective way to get points across to other people are through lists. So here is a list about me:
- I am from Charlotte, North Carolina.
- I have two younger sisters and loving parents.
- I am quite the foodie.
- I play beach volleyball.
- I cut mice brains in a lab for ~6 hours a week.
- I am a part of a sorority and quite enjoy it, despite the shock I receive from my friends.
- I like to dabble in painting and drawing, particularly hands and the small details of life.
Speaking of small details, this is exactly the direction this blog is heading. To the tiny streptococcus that cause strep throat, to even the very prions of fatal familial insomnia–I aim to cover and inform you of it all. From now on, it is about the nitty, gritty details of the things around us. Even the ones we may not particularly be able to see with the naked eye.
With that being said, Hello & Welcome to my Epidemiology / Microbiology blog.
